Stallion Service Station

Holstud offers stallion owners the opportunity to make their stallions sperm available to customers at home and abroad. Specifically for this activity we have a second fully certified location since March 2014 (see www.denieuweheuvel.com for more information).

This newly built location fulfils all requirements for an EU-station and our aim when building and equipping this station was to consider the different needs in different situations and to create the most optimal environment for the people working there as well as for the animals. Therefore we only work with state-of-the-art equipment.

We are able to offer you semen in different form - always depending on the receiving party:

Undiluted, straight from the stallion in the mare

The mare is at our own station.

Diluted, transportable in cool boxes

The mare is located either national or somewhere in the EU.
Please consider the limited time period when shipping semen.

Deep-freeze, transportable in nitrogen containers (dryshippers)

The location of the mare is of no concern.
Holstud is an officially approved EU-station and the semen which was taken under strict precautions at Holstud can be send to all European and worldwide destinations.
